First Steps Onto Unstable Ground showcases the results of an undergraduate ANU School of Art course titled “Multiples & Production: 1 & 2.” This year-long course aims to introduce students to the challenges of developing limited production objects in a world already full of stuff.
Students are challenged to reconcile their process with consideration to ethical responsibilities associated with social, cultural, environmental and political dimensions of the work they produce as designers and makers.
Designers: Susannah Bourke, Jeremy Brown,Elizabeth Curry, Bryn Davies, Joel Douglas, Ellen Gunner, Noah Hartley, Da Kim, Ross Peake, Ryan Robinette, Megan Stewart, Gemma Wheildon and Luke Yates.
Opening hours: 10.30am-5.00pm daily, Saturdays 12.00-5.00 pm.
