Saturday, 29 October 2016 @ 11am - 4pm | 21 Blaxland Crescent Griffith
Open Studios offer you a chance to see behind the scenes in the studio of a member design artist of Craft ACT: Craft + Design Centre.
Megan Jackson is an artist and textile designer. She employs traditional printmaking techniques and processes to create work that spans across the fields of visual arts and design. Her creative practice is strongly founded in an exploration and love of pattern, form and colour working often but not exclusively with textiles.
Megan has applied her work to create homewares, scarves, textiles, furniture and within interior spaces. She has exhibited widely throughout Canberra in group and solo exhibitions including at the Gallery of Australian Design, ANU School of Art and Craft ACT. Megan has also undertaken several specialised commissions and projects for a range of commercial and private clients.
