Designed and developed by Anthony Burton & Associates, with the assistance of Makin Trax, the Canberra Centenary trail is a 145 km long walking and touring cycling loop trail that traverses Canberra, through urban and rural environs. Exemplary for its integration of an entire city, and success across diverse and challenging terrain, the trail allows for easy access to and engagement with Canberra’s cultural and national heritage and showcases the symbiotic relationship between the city and its natural environment.

Harris Hobbs Landscapes and Fresh Landscape Design were awarded the Cultural Heritage Award for excellence in 2016 ACT Landscape Architecture Awards for their work on the later stages of the project, which connected the existing trail sections into a complete loop.

The content for the content for the trail’s 14 signs, trail maps and website were developed by GML Heritage.
