AFFILIATION: Craft and Design in the ACT Legislative Assembly Art Collection

For DESIGN Canberra, selected works from the ACT Legislative Assembly Art Collection will be displayed at the Assembly by accomplished local craft artists and designers, working in textiles, glass, metal and ceramics such as Sally Blake, Greg Daly, Janet DeBoos, Robert Foster, Catherine Franzi, Elizabeth Kelly, Valerie Kirk, MAKEOUT, Jenni Kemarre Martiniello, Anita McIntyre, Stephen Procter, and tACTile. A major work by the celebrated Klaus Moje is a permanent feature of the Assembly foyer. The Collection, established in 1994, continues to collect work by high calibre artists working in the region.

DESIGN Canberra acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT and surrounding areas. We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. We aim to respect cultural heritage, customs and beliefs of all Indigenous people.
