Alternate Threads is a call out to designers and crafters in Canberra! They are looking for applicants from all backgrounds and mediums to submit work that illustrates a glimpse into the future of clothing production and fashion within the capital. Entries may include digital prototypes, collage, functional or conceptual pieces, printmaking, sculptural work, video concepts and illustrative designs. The brief is to consider an Alternate Canberran perspective on textiles and fashion.

The chosen works will be exhibited for three weeks in the Smiths Alternative Gallery during Design Canberra.
