ANCA is transforming a retired Action Bus into a mobile contemporary gallery and studio space: The ANCA Art Bus. Converted into a unique exhibition space, the once a humble, orange and blue, Action Bus has been stripped of its seats and fitted out with gallery walls, lighting and new external paintwork by local artist, Riley Beaumont. Made possible with support from the ACT Government under the City Renewal Authority’s City Grants Program (CRA) and Transport Canberra.

From November 2018 – January 2019, the ANCA Art Bus will be located at three different sites across Canberra’s City Centre showcasing contemporary art by local artists as well as interactive art workshops for children. The ANCA Art Bus will be first located in Garema Place for the month of November from the 3rd – 25th open Wednesday to Sunday 12-5pm. Showcasing the work of local Artist Ruby Berry.
