Canberra ceramicist Anita McIntyre draws her inspiration from historical and topographic references as well as her personal connection with the land. Using maps as a starting point, Anita explores the narrative of journey through space and time in her porcelain paper clay works. Her works have appeared in national collections, including the Canberra Museum and Art Gallery and the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Anita has also been a long active member of various arts boards and committees such as the Craft Council of the ACT and the National Ceramic Award Committee.
