Canberra Urban Sketchers Festival Hub meet up

Urban Sketchers Canberra is part of an international, not for profit organisation, which encourages people around the world to share drawings of their life and where they live which are drawn on location. The motto of the group is “see the world one drawing at a time”. Members share their efforts through the USK Canberra webpage https://www.facebook.com/groups/367119473488606

Urban Sketchers are invited to draw inspiration from artist Hannah Quinlivan’s signature work for the DESIGN Canberra festival, Desiderium, a large-scale, 3D work made of acrylic, steel, LED lights and wire suspended at the David Jones entrance to Monaro Mall.

Please bring your own materials and equipment, any media or format you like. The point is to enjoy sketching and sharing with others. There is no formal tutoring but you can learn lots from watching and talking to other sketchers.
