Darren Bradley’s Canberra: Yesterday’s Vision of Tomorrow

With Canberra’s unique history as a ‘designed city’, it stands apart. The city was planned during the early 20th Century, at a time when people were embracing utopian ideas about community and humanity. A self-proclaimed “urban archaeologist”, photographer Darren Bradley has spent free time in Canberra seeking out the vestiges of the visionary designs that are the heart and soul of Canberra.

Opening event | 12 November, 4pm

DESIGN Canberra acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT and surrounding areas. We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. We aim to respect cultural heritage, customs and beliefs of all Indigenous people.
