Considering Canberra as a City of Design, the exhibition showcases diversity and excellence, and foregrounds the skilful and sometimes hidden activities of makers in the ACT region. Canberra, originally conceived as a designed city, has from its inception promoted and fostered innovation, collaboration and creativity, and the exhibition celebrates the ongoing contribution of the creative sector to the vibrancy of the capital.

Craft ACT: Craft + Design Centre is a not-for-profit membership based organisation which supports craft artists and designers at every stage of their careers. We promote and celebrate excellence and innovation in contemporary craft through our vibrant program of exhibitions and events. The annual curated members’ exhibition showcases trends in contemporary craft and design and represents the work of our Accredited Professional Members and Associate Members working across all mediums of craft and design including jewellery, furniture, textiles, ceramics, glass.
