Clay Handbuilding for Beginners

with Kate Stevens

Learn to make your own vessels with clay.

Utilising basic hand-building techniques, you will learn the fundamentals of working with clay, creating your own beautiful hand-built work.
Working with clay is a very mindful and grounded process that enables the maker to slow down. It soothes the nervous system and shifts focus to the present moment.

Suitable for beginners.

About the teacher: Kate Stevens is a self-taught potter, making small-batch wheel thrown and hand built ceramic pieces. Kate likes making beautiful yet functional work and the mindful and patient process that comes from working with clay. She is currently based at ANCA, on Ngunnawal Country.
