Contemporary Architecture – H House

DESIGN Canberra presents a tour of H House, designed by Paul Tilse and Ramir Araneta with interior design by Vanessa Hawes.

If good design is about creating a sense of ease and practicality for the homeowners then impeccable design is about taking clients on a journey of materiality, injecting their individual personality and elevating spaces to work cohesively. It takes a honed eye to bring these elements of design together and Vanessa Hawes of Paul Tilse Architects has just that. With a cross disciplinary background in Arts majoring in political science from ANU, jewellery design and a children’s wear label it was the passion for Interior Design that utilised her eye for detail after deciding to go back and study. Vanessa effortlessly balances minimalist aesthetics with luxurious finishes such as marble, a play with colour and crafted joinery, working collaboratively with Paul Tilse to deliver award winning architecture and interiors.

This is a small group architecture tour developed by DESIGN Canberra, in line with current COVID-safe restrictions. Numbers are limited and bookings are essential.
