Design Canberra Festival: Story Time and STEAM

2-3pm, 10 November @ Woden Library BOOK HERE
Ages 3 – 5
Join us as we use well known children’s books Robin Bird and Iggy Peck Architect to explore the design process, elements of design, and architecture. We will apply STEAM thinking, and the kids can create their own buildings in 2D.

Do you lend out your favourite books and sometimes don’t get them back? A bookplate is a small decorative label placed in the front of the book, indicating the owner. Design your own bookplate using collage and illustration with local artist Paul Summerfield, and make something beautiful and personal for your home library.

Canberra Quilter’s: Designing with Fabric
