Elevate Twilight Trails Training Run/Walk Adventure

Week two

Canberra’s many beautiful hills, large open spaces and national parks make connecting with nature so easy to enjoy every day in our city of design.

To celebrate the DESIGN Canberra festival, Elevate Running invites you to experience the magic of the zoo single trails at twilight to enjoy Canberra’s built and natural beauty. This scenic training run or walk is approximately 5 kms.

Open to runners and walkers, this group run will start and end at the viewing platform on the east side of Scrivener Dam opposite the National Zoo and Aquarium. The course will follow the zoo on the east side to the mountain bike single tracks and return.

Elevate Running is a Canberra-based coaching group which aims to improve technique and strength, promote a passion for trail and mountain running, and build a close-knit community. Our friendly members range from beginners through to elite athletes.

This adventure is open to runners and walkers, and will be guided by experienced trail runners.

A course map and illuminated signage will be provided.

Start and end location: The viewing platform on the southwest side of the dam near the zoo. The course will follow the zoo on the east side to the MTB single tracks and return.
