Embassy of Kindness

@theembassyofkindness, driven by artist @legojacker, is an inspiring Instagram project which seeks to document humanity through the transformative power of kindness. Following a recent appearance at TEDx Canberra, the project returns in its first physical form – a mobile exhibition and conversation space reimagined and built by the Australian Institute of Architects ACT Emerging Architects and Graduates Network (EmAGN ACT).

The Embassy of Kindness will be popping up around town at DESIGN Canberra events. You can find it at the following locations:

  • City Sessions: Thursday 8 November – Civic Square (4:30-6:30pm)
  • Sunday Sessions: Sunday 11 November – Aspen Island (3-5pm)
  • Sunday Sessions: Sunday 18 November – Bowen Park (3-5pm)
  • Museum of Possibilities: Thursday 22 November – City Hill (4:30-6:30pm)
  • Sunday Sessions: Sunday 25 November – Aspen Island (3-5pm)

DESIGN Canberra acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT and surrounding areas. We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. We aim to respect cultural heritage, customs and beliefs of all Indigenous people.
