Regatta Point: Documenting Canberra’s History in an Iconic and Evolving Building with Urban Sketcher’s Canberra

Nurture Workshop

Document through drawing the iconic public building at Regatta Point which houses a display about the transformation of a rural landscape into the planned city of Canberra. The building is an example of transformation, as it now also houses a tourist information centre and is currently being redeveloped to include a function centre and café. Participants will be encouraged to use recycled materials, such as the backs of old packets and wrappers to either sketch directly upon or to use for collage work. Recycled materials will be provided.
