Friends in High Places

Art installation

Eggpicnic have created a large scale graphic intervention on the walls Canberra Airport. In their distinctive style they bring to the public’s view a number of species from the Alpine region that are are currently endangered. This work also forms a part of a research project with Western Sydney University into the effect of public art on raising awareness about conservation issues.

FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES can be seen in the Departure Lounge, to the left after going through the airport security.

Supported by the Canberra Airport Group
