This is a one-off opportunity to learn how to make necklaces and bracelets with artists from Ikuntji Artists. Using seeds, nuts, gum nuts and quandong seeds the necklaces and bracelets represent one of the longest traditions of art-making in Central Australia.

Artists will teach the techniques of pokering with a hot wire and creating unique pieces of seed jewellery.

Each participant is welcome to keep their bracelet/necklace.

There will be two workshops on 16 November:

1. 10am-12 noon
2. 1pm – 3pm

This exciting workshop will be held at and hosted by The Australian National University.
