In The Moment - Hand Felting Vessels

Starting with a handful of fluffy wool, learn how to make a small felted 3D pot or bowl using wet feltmaking techniques with just soap, water and friction. Discover how one of the oldest textile techniques has been updated with a contemporary twist and share the making experience with others.

About the teacher: Canberra Region Feltmakers was formed in 1994 by 14 keen felt makers. From those early beginnings, helped along by a cold climate that is felt friendly and a region producing fine merino, CRF has developed into an active group. The group meets each month, runs a busy workshop and felting fun program and demonstrates feltmaking at public events.
