James Tylor artist talk at CCAS and Springbank Island
Join us to celebrate James Tylor’s, From an untouched landscape exhibition.
At Canberra Contemporary Art Space, Tylor will talk in depth about the works on display, how they highlight the contemporary absence of Aboriginal culture within the Australian landscape and how this phenomenon is a direct result of the impact of European colonisation.
Afterwards, join us on a boat ride from Commonwealth Place to Springbank Island where Tylor and Samantha Rich will talk about their Contour 556 installation, The Dwelling. The boat will leave from commonwealth place at 3.40pm and return at 5pm.
Please note, the artist talk at Canberra Contemporary Art Space is free however bookings are essential.
