Monika Leone is a practicing ceramic artist with 25 years experience. She makes a wide range of ceramic works from her studio in Mawson, including functional and non-functional pieces using handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques. She has also been teaching handbuilding classes twice weekly for 10 years.

Monika will be offering free Devonshire tea as well as tours of her gallery and backyard firing facilities. She will be hosting demonstrations of raku firing and handbuilding techniques throughout the day. Artworks will also be available for purchase.

The Open Studio will be running both Saturday and Sunday.
