Open Studio: AM PM Ceramics (Anne Masters)

AM PM Ceramics creates ceramic jewellery and little things that is designed and handmade in Canberra, Australia. Visitors will meet the maker, view a kiln, studio and gallery in the leafy suburb of Watson.

Anne Masters is the maker behind AM PM Ceramics. She thinks about ceramics all day and night. She designs her products for longevity and prosperity. She uses materials made in Australia and in some instances, sources materials from overseas. Be rest assured, all ceramic products are made in Australia.

She tests her products with love and care with an emphasis on recycling/repurposing where possible – her belief is to leave a lighter footprint and a sustainable practice. AM PM Ceramics is a small business consisting of one person – Anne – who is keen not to mass produce but rather focus on the little things that make us happy.

Anne has cufflinks, jewellery (earrings & pendants), little dishes and birds all made from Australian porcelain. She also has a gallery where you can view other artist’s works from local to overseas artists who make beautiful artworks from silk scarves to paintings, framed and unframed prints, miniature art and cards and so much more!

DESIGN Canberra acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT and surrounding areas. We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. We aim to respect cultural heritage, customs and beliefs of all Indigenous people.
