Annie Trevillian
Annie Trevillian’s Open Studio is open at 10:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, 5 November at 24 Richards Street, Hackett, ACT.
Annie Trevillian’s Canberra studio is the place where she brings together all of her research notes, images, collections and ideas. She creates imagery by drawing and painting in watercolour, gouache and ink. She uses her pinboards for the design layouts. Annie then scans and manipulates the newly cleaned and layered artwork in Photoshop into a digital file. Depending on the project, Annie may create positives for screenprinting on fabric or paper or digital files for output on fabric, wallpaper, metal or glass. Annie screenprints her products by hand at Megalo Print Studio and liaises with industry experts to digitally print her wallpapers and glass splashbacks Annie Trevillian is inspired by her hometown of Canberra. The heritage, architecture, seasonal flora and fauna layered along with her family history has always provided her with a wealth of imagery.
Visitors can expect to see Annie’s work for sale, including bespoke screenprinted tea towels, napkins and cushions in her homewares range, ready to hang digital prints on paper, bespoke babies and children’s clothing, and printed fabric lengths.
