Open Studio: Atelier 818 (Lisa Cahill)

Lisa is an artist working predominately in glass. Her work ranges in scale from domestic items such as bowls, wall pieces and small sculptures to larger public art installations for corporate and government. Lisa’s new kiln forming studio was established in early 2019 in a Fyshwick warehouse with street frontage. She is currently working on creating a clean display/gallery area as well as a kiln and coldworking area.

Lisa will be showing the workshop in action – studio kilns and cold working equipment as well as an exhibition of wall pieces and display of functional artworks and jewellery. She will also invite a handful of other artists that have worked in the studio to display their works.
