Brenda Runnegar’s Open Studio is open at 10:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, 19 November at 63 Ambalindum Street, Hawker, ACT.

Brenda Runnegar’s forty odd year-long practice is characterised by the use of the surreal and dreamlike. Her exquisitely detailed and quietly confronting work is inspired by the natural world and explores the complex vulnerabilities and strengths of the human condition. She has worked variously in the arts and crafts and began as a Textile Artist in the 1970s whilst living in London and studied at the Stanhope Institute. Visitors can expect works for sale, including digital prints (framed and unframed), paintings, greeting cards, and a new collection of hand-made art dolls.
