ANCA Mitchell Studio no. 8, Furniture maker/restorer

Christopher Dalzell is a furniture maker and restorer who has an eye for Danish mid-century design. As ‘The Modern Maker’ Christopher seeks out iconic mid-century furniture in disrepair and hones his skills and design perception through the process of restoration. Specialising in paper cord weaving and fine furniture making techniques, he adopts the design philosophy and craftsmanship of the Modernist era translated within a contemporary practice that seeks to promote environmental and emotional sustainability.

Christopher Dalzell’s studio will be open as part of ANCA Mitchell open studios.
