E.a clay and Sarah Humphery’s Open Studio is open at 10:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, 19 November at 90 Stockdill Drive, Holt, ACT.

Emina Adriaans (e.a.clay) is an emerging ceramic artist in the Canberra ceramics community. Her ceramic work focuses on functional ware with emphasis on wares for plants. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, her work often features lively colourings paired with raw and unglazed surfaces.

Sarah Humphery is a Canberra based ceramicist who creates handmade and slow made objects and functional pieces to be appreciated in everyday life. She is drawn to classic shapes and clean lines and places value on functionality, sustainability and well produced work.

Visitors can expect works available for purchase, a ‘Christmas Decoration’ workshop table throughout the day, providing visitors the opportunity to paint their own Christmas decorations with underglazes for a small cost. Emina and Sarah will supply ready made bisque decorations, underglazes and tools as well as direction and guidance to those involved.
