Teffany Thiedeman & Ochre Bodhi

Mother & daughter makers of earthy domestic ware- Fetish Designs work from their home studio Hearth. Vessels are imprinted with natural textures from the environments they spend time in. Their current range focuses on seaweed textured surfaces highlighting the plight of kelp forests in Tasmania, our other home. Teffany  Thiedeman has been a practising artist for over 20 years, hand building figurative ceramic sculptures and facilitating community art projects. She also makes chicken teapots… Ochre Bodhi is an environmentalist with a love of the hand made object and a life long background in ceramics.

In her home studio Hearth, Teffany  Thiedeman presents figurative, sculptural work alongside a line of functional wares under the domestic label Fetish Designs. Enjoy the garden, water features, beehives and outdoor sculptures. Visitors will be able to purchase pizza from the earth and clay oven over lunch time and sit under the grape arbour around a massive red gum slab table. Fetish Designs ware will be for sale.

There will be opportunities for people of all ages to play with clay as an extension of the drop in classes run regularly from Hearth as Ceramic Salon. This is a weather dependent event. Please check for updates on her website.
