Julie Bradley’s Open Studio is open at 10:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, 5 November at ANCA Studio 13, 1 Rosevear Place, Dickson, ACT.

Julie Bradley is a professional artist working at the Australian National Capital Artists studios in Canberra. Her mixed media works on paper explore ideas of connectedness and express emotional states of being. Julie was a founding member of the redoubtable Studio One Print workshop in Canberra, where she worked as an atelier printer and printmaking and drawing tutor. In 2019 Julie was awarded the CAPO fellowship and was also the international visiting fellow at the Ballinglen Art Foundation in Ireland. In 2020 Julie was presented with the City News artist of the year award and the Canberra Critics Circle Award. Work by Julie Bradley is held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Australian National University Collection, Canberra Museum and Gallery, University of Canberra Collection, Bundanon Trust, Calvary Hospital Birth Centre, Canberra Hospital and the Lu Rees Archive, Goulburn Regional Art Gallery, Ballinglen Museum of Contemporary Art in Ireland and private collections. Visitors can expect Julie to demonstrate her techniques and discuss her materials while giving an overview of her practise and concepts, a work station for visitors to make their own greeting card, and all stock will be available for purchase.
