ANCA Mitchell Studio no. 12, Painting + Architectural Colour Design

Lymesmith is an award-winning art + design practice creating colour concepts and site-specific artworks for the built environment. With a deep understanding of how colour, space and form interact, Lymesmith works with architects, designers and private clients to realise the colour potential within their projects.

“I came to architecture through painting, and after studying fresco painting in India. I am still a painter – sometimes painting at the scale of the body, and sometimes at the scale of building, or a city block.”

If you are interested in colour’s ability to enhance connection to place; to amplify or camouflage built form; to signify cultural and historical connections; to reinforce way-finding strategies; to activate and regenerate places in transition, come and visit the studio.

Sonias studio will be open as part of ANCA Mitchell open studios.
