Open Studio: Michelle Dickerson

Michelle Dickerson is a gold and silversmith who graduated from the Australian National University, Canberra School of Art, with honours in 2004. Michelle has worked in the jewellery industry since 1999, and has a broad experience in all dimensions of jewellery. With colour as its primary medium, Michelle’s work is bold and dynamic in composition, but refers to tradition and sentiment by using materials such as gold and silver, and precious stones such as sapphire. Michelle established a workshop at Gorman Arts Centre earlier in 2009 and has been feverishly working on commissions and exhibition work since. Michelle’s jewellery will be available to purchase on the day.

Michelle is an Ainslie + Gorman Arts Centre studio artist.

Michelle’s studio will be open as part of Gorman Arts Centre open studios.
