Open Studio: Phoebe Porter

Phoebe Porter’s practice encompasses production and custom jewellery making alongside regular exhibitions of new creative projects. Trained in gold and silver smithing, Phoebe’s work is strongly influenced by the Bauhaus and Constructivist movements, striving for order and balance and seeking to reduce each piece to its necessary elements.

Phoebe’s Open Studio is an exciting opportunity to peek inside her fully equipped workspace which is not usually open to the public. She will also have work for sale on the day, so visitors can purchase unusual pieces from her archive, as well as her latest designs and signature pieces.

Phoebe’s studio will be open as part of Gorman Arts Centre open studios.
