Emma Fleetwood is an emerging Canberra ceramicist working with stoneware and porcelain clays. Under her label ‘The Seasonal Ceramicist’, Fleetwood creates homewares and jewellery which combine hand pinched textures with intricate patterned finishes.

Fleetwood runs regular workshops in Canberra, and the surrounding area, sharing hand building skills with the community. She works from a compact suburban home studio, which includes a glazing and kiln firing area.

At the open studio she will be opening up her little home workshop, so visitors can see the steps that are behind making ceramic pieces, and learn more on how she runs her ceramic business from the home.

Emma will be demonstrating hand building and decorating skills throughout the day, and will have clay and tools available for you to have a go too. A small selection of her work will be available for purchase.
