Open Studio: Dionisia Salas

Dionisia Salas is a painter, working on paper and canvas using acrylic paint and print making in her work. Dionisia has received a 2017 artsACT grant and will participate in a print-making residency at The Art Vault in Mildura later in the year. She has had solo exhibitions at Canberra Contemporary Art Space, tbc art inc, and Platform Artspace, Melbourne. She has showed in exhibition spaces at the Drill Hall Gallery and at Grantpirrie, Sydney. Group exhibitions include: Emerging from Canberra, Watters Gallery, Sydney Here and Now, Nuttall Kibel Nguyen, Melbourne, Word of Mouth, Canberra Museum + Gallery; The Presence of the Past in the Future, Stedefreund, Berlin; and This Way Up, ANU School of Art, Canberra. Dionisia Salas graduated from the painting department at the ANU School of Art in 2007.

Dionisia’s studio will be open as part of ANCA Dickson open studios.
