Public art and architecture walking tour: ANU School of Music and the Childers Street precinct

Join curator, writer and art historian, Deborah Clark on a guided walking tour of Public Art in Canberra City. Beginning at the ANU School of Music, Deborah will lead you and into the midst of some of Canberra’s most prominent public art. See old favourites in a new light and discover untold stories of Canberra’s rich public art collection.
The 45-minute tour will kick off at 12:30pm from outside the Daryl Jackson + Evan Walker designed ANU School of Music (1976) and will explore Tim Spellman’s Music of the spheres (2001), Marie Hagerty’s Façade (2001), Norma Redpath’s Extended column (1972-75) and Michael Le Grand’s Torii (1999) and Two to tango (2011), among others.
Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. BYO umbrella for inclement weather. Recommended comfortable walking shoes are worn.
