Public Art Walking Tour
Join curator, writer and art historian, Deborah Clark on a guided walking tour of Public Art in Canberra City. Beginning in Civic Square, Deborah will lead you and into the midst of some of Canberra’s most prominent public art. See old favourites in a new light and discover untold stories of Canberra’s rich public art collection.
The one-hour tour will kick off at 12:30pm from the hub of festival activities in the city, near the fountain in Civic Square.
Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. BYO umbrella for inclement weather. Recommended comfortable walking shoes are worn.
Deborah Clark is an art historian who has had an extensive professional engagement with the visual arts in Canberra, where she has been a curator, editor, writer, lecturer, and active member of the arts community for 30 years. Deborah has an enduring interest in the art, architecture and urban fabric of Canberra.
