Designer’s Eggpicnic provide insight into their installation at Canberra Airport

Talk

Join Eggpicnic to hear about their art installation, FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES, and the research program that inspired it.

The co-funded research project with Dr. Kate Umbers (School of Science of the Western Sydney University) aims to quantify the impact of art on conservation. To launch this research project, Eggpicnic created 13 new art prints in collaboration with Dr. Kate, to raise public support for one of the world’s ecosystems most threatened by climate change, the Australian Alps.

FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES can be seen in the Departure Lounge, to the left after going through the airport security.

Supported by the Canberra Airport Group
