Join Restorationist and Interior Designer Jessy Moss of Jessy Moss Design as she traces her journey through the acquisition and restoration of an MCM home in Palm Springs, saving it from destruction.

The provenance story of this home captivated Dwell Magazine, Sunset Magazine, Palm Springs Life Magazine and the Palm Springs modernist community as well as the children of a Hollywood starlet and the daughter of modernist architect William Cody.

The presentation will also touch on dealing with systems at the end of their useful lives without harming the aesthetic, undoing insensitive additions, and preserving the architect’s original intention. Finally, the forgotten history is uncovered to reveal who was responsible for such a brilliant international style home.

This home is now regularly featured in Palm Springs Modernism Week and was selected to be on the cover of Master of the Mid Century By Cathy Cody, Jo Lauria and Don Choi published by Monacelli Press.
