Tending the Inner Garden – Stitch Meditations
Tending the Inner Garden – Stitch Meditations
This 30-minute slow-stitching session is a guided relaxation technique used by artists to begin their day. The haptic or tactile activity enhance the contemplative qualities of stitch – busy hands facilitate clearing mind. It is a guided meditation taking participants to their inner garden, helping to weed out the choked inner garden, prepare the soil and plant some new seeds. No experience in stitching is necessary – just the ability to thread a needle.
Participants will sit on chairs.
Fabric and threads are provided.
