Canberra Region Feltmakers (CRF) and Canberra Spinners and Weavers (CSW) propose a joint exhibition titled ‘Utopia’ to be held at their joint premises, Textile Works.

Textile artists will develop a creative response to the theme of the Design Canberra Festival, challenging participants to explore and translate their vision of Utopia using various and varied textile forms. The raw materials used by both groups are sustainable materials and the techniques are a form of ‘slow art’, a positive response to the mass production, throw away society.

A silent auction will be held throughout the exhibition, culminating with nibbles and drinks at the conclusion on Saturday.

Sales Tables: Over both days CRF and CSW members will have quality textiles gift ware for sale.
