Ceramic Salon

Take some time out to play with clay in an inspiring garden and studio environment. Slow down and get your hands dirty, squeeze some earth and feel grounded. Enjoy a bit of ceramic therapy! These clay sessions are designed for grown ups to play and get back in touch with their creative side. Ceramic Salon is completely inclusive and is suitable for everyone. Clay is a very human friendly material.

$50 covers clay, tools, technical guidance, glazing and firing of finished work.

These sessions will be facilitated by two local artists who run Fetish Designs, Ochre Bodhi and Teffany Thiedeman.

Teffany Thiedeman graduated from The ANU Ceramics Department in the last century. She is a Director of Aeon Arts, a NFP cultural organisation whose mission is to bring creative opportunities to the people. As an artist she has exhibited broadly, in graveyards, paddocks and even art galleries! She loves art interactives and getting people to have a play with clay. Teffany makes Fetish Designs domestic ware from her home studio Hearth with her daughter Ochre Bodhi and maintains a strong ceramic arts practise with regular exhibitions.
