What is an empathometer? Or a story-catcher? Can you imagine a future where these objects may exist? Thinking about the future is one thing, talking about the future is another.

This is a workshop designed for pairs of friends, for multi- generational families, for business leaders and for high-schoolers who would agree: The future belongs to those who get their hands dirty.

We invite you to do some future-making. In this interactive workshop designed for all ages, we will visualise a possible future through a fun scenario-building game, and then get to work building an object from that future with an array of crafty, recycled, strange materials we’ll have ready for you. By using our hands and some simple, fun prototyping, we’ll find a new way to imagine the future and to realise the role we can all play in creating futures we want.
