Presented by Stylecraft and JamFactory, the Australian Furniture Design Award is Australia’s richest and most prestigious award for furniture design. The award encourages innovation in furniture design and will foster new opportunities for furniture manufacturing in Australia. The prototype work by the winner and finalists’ will be shown in the Canberra showroom throughout DESIGN Canberra. The winner of the Australian Furniture Design Award 2015 is Seaton McKeon (NSW) with ‘The Sun the Moon & Me’. This exhibition features Penelope Forlano (WA), Gavin Harris (NSW), Seaton McKeon (NSW), Elliat Rich (NT), Charles Wilson (NSW), Sam Wright (WA).
