Celebrate the official launch of DVANT Designs, a project Rohan Thomas has been working on for more than 10 years. DVANT Designs specialises in using materials, such as concrete, steel, glass and timber, to create unique furniture, glass art, wall panelling, splashbacks, fireplaces and bathroom units. Rohan graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Canberra and worked as an interior designer for eight years. He learned, during that time, that many people in the industrial and interior design industry approached design in a similar way. He wanted to design differently. DVANT Designs’ studio is located in Canberra and Rohan collaborates with local manufacturers. Visitors can check out a wide range of samples and some furniture during DESIGN Canberra.
