At the intersection of graphic design, typography, iconography, illustration, and writing lies the unique artform of the comic book. The Impact Comics Festival is a showcase of comic book inspired creativity in all forms. In an open air market setting in Garema Place the public can meet creators. Discover zines, comics, graphic novels, artworks, jewellery, clothing, music and more, all featuring or inspired by comic books – for some extra fun join the “cosplay” contest by coming along dressed as your favourite character.
The Festival is family friendly and entry is free thanks to a generous grant from In The City, so bring the whole family along.
