Inspired by the design of the Classic Greek theatre but realised in a contemporary pop-up aesthetic, this innovatively designed theatre, created by Cox Architecture, transforms a familiar civic space into an intimate live venue. The Public Theatre will bring the dynamic of that design to the heart of the city, in the gaze of Canberra’s premiere political and cultural institutions.
