Industrial designer Tom Skeehan, manages SKEEHAN studio which specialises in commercial furniture, lighting and product design.

Influenced by Japanese design principles of simplicity and restrained beauty, SKEEHAN takes a material driven approach with an emphasis on constant refinement from initial concept through to completed product.

Of particular note is SKEEHAN’s Hoshi range of chairs, lounges and bench seats. In 2016, the collection captured the attention of internet giant, Google, and the Hoshi chair can be found in the company’s Singapore office. Featuring an elegant frame of limed American Ash with natural leather strapping, the Hoshi chair balances its simplicity of form and restrained style with an unexpected warmth and playfulness
