Winners announced for the Designcraft: Craft + Design Award

Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre would like to congratulate the winner of the inaugural Designcraft: Craft + Design Award winner, Nellie Peoples. Designcraft awarded Nellie the prize for her outstanding collaborative project with Sam Tomkins for the event, Fusion: the Art of Eating. The Craft + Design Award is a $2,500 prize, awarded to assist in the development of new work, materials and research in which the outcomes produced, will be exhibited at Designcraft in 2015.
Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre would also like to congratulate the winner of the Designcraft, Craft + Design People’s Choice Award, Chelsea Lemon for her piece in Crafted ’14. Thank you to all those voted for the the Peoples choice.
