What do you have planned for DESIGN Canberra?
I’m going to create a fun and colourful pop-up shop displaying products made using my fabric designs, both hand-printed and digitally printed. There will be a huge range of products including bespoke furniture pieces, soft furnishings and rugs along with cosmetic bags and much more. Even a little bit of Christmas.

I will also have a stall at Modern Market which will be great. Saturday will be super busy!

What is the main focus of your design practice?
I focus a lot on handmade processes in my design practice and throughout my product range. I screen-print fabric, dye silks and velvets, weave my own braid and trims to create bright and exciting products for the interior.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Originally my fabric designs were all inspired from decorative items of jewellery. I have recently started designing some new fabric collections that will launch early next year – they will be a little different!
What’s your favourite thing to do in Canberra?
Have coffee and cake with friends!
What DESIGN Canberra events are you looking forward to attending?
There is a great collection of events happening I’m hoping to attend as many as I can between opening my pop-up shop and participating in Modern Market. I wish the Festival went for a little longer!
