It’s a wrap!

It’s a wrap!

There were mixed emotions as the 2020 DESIGN Canberra festival drew to a close on 29 November.

It was a privilege to yet again celebrate Canberra as a global city of design with our most important program yet which explored and promoted care.

We’re busily preparing our evaluation reports and crunching the numbers. We are also looking forward to having a well-deserved rest on the weekend.

For now, it’s simply a HUGE and HEARTFELT thank you to everyone who participated, supported, attended and encouraged us to proceed with this lovefest of design (and Canberra) at the end of a challenging year.

We love design, we love DESIGN Canberra, and we love our community!

DESIGN Canberra acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT and surrounding areas. We honour and respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. We aim to respect cultural heritage, customs and beliefs of all Indigenous people.
